When you mix sugar in the boric acid powder, this powder will be sweet and attractive of ants. After that, ants will definitely eat this powder and die. Because this powder is capable to kill ants and all kind of insects.

  • Boric acid – 2 cup
  • Sugar powder – 1 cup

  • Take 2 cup of boric acid and 1 cup of sugar and mix well.
  • Then look for places where there are ants in your house. Simply sprinkle this powder on all these places.

2. Soapy Water

Soapy water is usually not very harmful. But if you use it to get rid of carpenter ants, you will find it very useful. Other than that, you can remove all kind of bugs, ants, pests and insects with soapy water. The reason of removing ants and other bugs is cleanliness and hygiene. Also, this method is extremely easy to use. You only need to mix soap with water and then spray all places of ants.   • Dish soap – 4 table spoon
  • Water – 1 glass
  • Spray bottle – 1

  • Take a bowl and add 1 glass of water with 4 table spoon of dish soap.
  • Then pour this liquid in a spray bottle and use this spray on carpenter ants and their places.

3. Vinegar

If you are tired of carpenter ants and want to get rid of these annoying ants, you can try vinegar as a remedy. Vinegar is extremely effective in the case of bugs, ants, pests, insects and carpenter ants. You can easy remove these carpenter ants from your home by using vinegar. Other than that, the use of vinegar to repel carpenter ants give amazing results. Because, it is a natural deterrent. The use of vinegar is very old and you can use it without any fear. 4. Essential Oil to Get Rid of Carpenter Ants

Essential oil is a thing which is extremely disliked by all kind of insects. If you use any kind of essential oil in your home, your home can be protected from these pests and even carpenter ants. Although, you can use any essential oil but if you use all oils to get rid of carpenter ants, it will be more effective. The best thing is that essential oils keep your house fragrant all the time and the other is that insects do not enter the house. If you use essential oils on daily basis, you will feel noticeable difference in a few days. You can mix two or three essential oils and then spray on your plants. Furthermore, these oils are completely suitable for all kind of plants and grass also. If you use these essential oils on your wooden furniture or floor, you will get excellent results.

  • Lavender oil – 5 to 10 drops
  • Peppermint oil – 15 drops
  • Water – half cup

  • Take half cup water and mix 5 to 10 drop of lavender oil and 15 drops peppermint oil and mix.
  • Then take a spray bottle and pour these mixed oil in this bottle. Then spray this mixture where required.

5. Turmeric and Cinnamon Powder

Turmeric is considered to be very effective in repelling ants. Also turmeric has innumerable benefits and you can use it for any purpose. Also, turmeric is a thing whose disadvantages are negligible. On the other hand, you can use turmeric to remove wounds it doesn’t matter wounds are internal or external. If you sprinkle turmeric in your house, there is a strong possibility that the these carpenter ants as well as normal ants will leave your house.   • Mix 2 to 3 table spoon of turmeric powder and 2 table spoon of cinnamon powder and store it in a bottle.
  • When you feel the presence of carpenter ants, sprinkle this powder on these ants and their nests.
